Colton Flinner Crowned Port Royal Track Champion!

(September 11, 2022) On Friday night, September 9 in the final point event at Port Royal Speedway, Colton Flinner was offically crowned the Track Champion at the Port Royal, Pennsylvania speedplant! Colton won his heat race in preliminary action prior to passing three competitors during the $3,000 to win Super Late Model feature. At the completion of the contest, Colton was in the fourth finishing position and trailed only victor Jason Covert, Mike Lupfer, and Hayes Mattern!

The dirt-slinging action then quickly shifted to Hummingbird Speedway in Reynoldsville, Pennyslvania on Saturday evening, September 10 for another $3,000 to win shootout. Colton clicked off the eighth quickest lap overall during the qualifying session before running third in his heat race. After starting the 35-lapper from the outside of the fourth row and vaulting up to as high as fourth in the unsanctioned contest, Colton unfortunately went for a spin late in the distance and was relegated to a disappointing fourteenth place showing. Flinner Finishes Second in Final Lernerville Points

(September 4, 2022) Colton Flinner, of Allison Park, Pennsylvania, found himself at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania and Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania over the Labor Day holiday weekend. In the final point night at Lernerville on Friday night, September 2, Colton ran third in his heat race and had vaulted all the way up to third in the running order of the $1,617 to win main event before unfortunately jumping the cushion. At the end of the 25-lapper, Colton found himself credited with an eleventh place performance and was officially placed second in the final version of the track point standings!

At Port Royal on Saturday evening, September 3, the United Late Model Series (ULMS) presided over the annual running of the 'Butch Renninger Memorial.' After placing third in heat race action, Colton rolled off from the inside of the fifth row in the 33-lap headliner. With a $7,333 payday up for grabs, he was able to steer past a trio of competitors en route to a solid sixth place effort behind only winner Gregg Satterlee, Michael Norris, Austin Berry, Rick Eckert, and Alex Ferree! Colton Flinner Bags $3,000 for Make-Up Feature Win!

(August 28, 2022) Following the completion of the $50,000 to win 'Rumble by the River' headliner on Saturday night, August 27 at Port Royal Speedway, a make-up feature for the ground-pounding Super Late Models was held from an August 6 rain-out. Colton Flinner was able to secure his sixth checkered flag of the 2022 campaign at the Port Royal, Pennsylvania facility and his seventh win overall. After Dillan Stake paced the field for the first 20 circuits, Colton overtook him for the point with five laps remaining and set sail to collect the $3,000 windfall over a top five that included runner-up Stake, Gary Stuhler, Hayes Mattern, and Justin Weaver! Flinner Hard Charger in $50k Rumble by the River

(August 28, 2022) The biggest Super Late Model race of the year at Port Royal Speedway took center stage from August 26-27, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series roared into the Port Royal, Pennsylvania speedplant to preside over the 'Rumble by the River.' Things kicked off on Friday night with a pair of split-field, $5,000 to win programs. Colton Flinner improved one spot in his heat race to finish third and later started his 25-lap preliminary feature from the outside of the fourth row. The current track point leader fought hard to stay inside of the top ten during the caution-free affair before ultimately landing in the tenth finishing position.

In front of a huge crowd on Saturday evening in the 'Rumble by the River' finale, a whopping $50,000 paycheck was up for grabs for the cars and stars racing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Colton placed fifth in both his heat race and his B-Main, but was later awarded a track provisional to gain access into the 50-lap affair. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania ace rolled off from the inside of the thirteenth row, but was able to earn Hard Charger honors during the race by picking off ten competitors en route to a fifteenth place showing.
